SCARA maintains two repeaters on Petersburg Mountain for general use. As the location is quite high in elevation, the range of both machines is excellent.
VHF Repeater
VHF repeater currently operating normally.
- Primary - Yaesu DR-2X repeater operating in analog-only mode. Total output power ~80 watts.
- Alternate - ICOM RP-1520 repeater operating at 25 watts.
- Frequency - 146.610MHz (negative offset, input 146.010MHz) and CTCSS/PL Tone of 123Hz
UHF Repeater
UHF repeater currently operating normally.
- Primary - Yaesu DR-2X repeater operating in analog-only mode. Total output power ~40 watts.
- Frequency - 449.275MHz (negative offset, input 444.275MHz) and CTCSS/PL Tone of 123Hz
Repeater Controller
- Arcom RC-210 controller allows for VHF and UHF to simulcast traffic over one when receiving on the other.
- Echo Test available for SCARA Club members to review proper station operation ("how well am I being heard")
- Controller Currently Inactive as additional parts will be needed to interface with DR-2X repeaters.
